Bo Ji

The candidate will conduct theoretical and algorithmic development on reinforcement learning, online learning, control, and optimization over networked multi-agent systems while taking real-world constraints into account. Networked multi-agent systems are finding applications in a wide variety of domains including distributed control, resource allocation and management, communication networks, robotics, and self-driving cars. The research will develop novel data-driven decision-making frameworks with theoretical guarantees for solving challenging problems in networked multi-agent systems, building upon tools from reinforcement learning, online learning, optimization, dynamical systems, and distributed algorithms. The ultimate goal is to help the agents operate fully autonomous in unknown and time-varying environments, with minimal or no human interactions.

My research interests lie in the intersection of network systems and machine learning.
