I co-direct the People, Agents, Interactions, and Systems (PAIRS) laboratory in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My research explores how interactive and intelligent systems can improve the productivity and well-being that people experience in their every-day lives. My work frequently intersects human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cognitive science, and workplace studies.
