The Illusioneering Lab focuses on research in virtual/augmented reality, 3D user interfaces, and spatial interaction techniques. Current research directions in my lab include studying and mitigating cybersickness, locomotion and redirected walking, and understanding the relationship between avatar embodiment and gender identity. We have a broad interest in tackling the HCI challenges that arise when applying immersive technologies in emerging interdisciplinary applications, especially those that address topics related to diversity, inclusion, and social justice.
