Overview

My research focuses on care coordination in behavioral and mental health, including the role of records, documentation, IEPs, and self-monitoring. I design behavioral interventions at the individual, group, and community levels. My research methods typically include interaction design, participatory design, community-based approaches, field deployments, and ethnographic fieldwork and other qualitative methods. Projects include collaborative systems for children’s care teams, decision making and coordination in special education, promoting child-centered planning of interventions, improving access to care for stigmatized or marginalized populations, and facilitating community-based response to opioid overdoses.
