My research focuses on data visualization. Particularly, I apply techniques from topological data analysis and machine learning and have multiple projects working on analyzing multivariate, ensemble, and time-varying data from scientific simulations. These techniques investigate the “shape” of data through features we can compute and visualize.
I co-lead the Humans, Data, and Computers Lab at University of Arizona (http://hdc.cs.arizona.edu/). Postdocs in our lab interact with multiple faculty and graduate students who work on visualization topics.
