Overview
I am seeking a postdoc to work on research in usable privacy and privacy by design. Specific projects focus on how developers and product teams in the tech industry consider (or don’t consider) privacy of primary users and bystanders in designing products (in particular, smart homes and health tech), and what interventions could be most effective in encouraging more attention to privacy in development.
The position will involve designing and executing new studies in this area, including (potentially) interview and survey studies as well as lab and field experiments.
